    Purpose of the Position:

    Create and maintain reports for the Operations team to assist the team and the managers to measure performance.

     

     

     

     

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provides operational and reporting support to Operations including New Student Finance, Continuing, Debt Management, Finance Central, Fiscal operations, Business Office and Student Accounts and registrar.
    • Identifies and resolves day-to-day operational and reporting issues affecting student finance and assisting managers in tracking performance.
    • Analyzes data in an effort to identify opportunities for packaging collections and process improvement by reviewing inefficiencies in the department.
    • Provides recommendations to the Director – Operations regarding operational issues and inefficiencies impacting the Student Finance and Operations departments.
    • Participates in Student Finance and Operations meetings to identify areas of improvement, assist the directors with information helpful towards running their operations.
    • Ensures that internal processes are followed and in full compliance with Department of Education regulations and those of other regulatory bodies.
    • Be the champion on all technology, telephony and IT topics.
    • Responsible for producing and distributing daily weekly and monthly reports for the Student Finance/Ops departments
    • Assists with the automation of reports and document the process to create reports
    • Partners with student finance and ground operations department heads to ensure reporting is available for them to manage their business and its changing environment.
    • Ensures reports are available to all employees and managers so we can track performance on a daily/regular basis
    • Partners with IT to create all new reports for both departments, act as the liaison to ensure all IT needs are communicated with IT and completed with respect to reporting
    • Creates and maintain a dashboard for the student finance and ground operations that encompasses data from each department showing their performance
    • Works with managers and employees to address and fix data discrepancies and duplication or records
    • Assists managers/directors from all departments with ad-hoc reporting as needed
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Demonstrates knowledge of, and carefully follows all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, CIE, and internal UMA policies and procedures.
    • Effectively communicates compliance requirements to students and other staff as appropriate and quickly escalates any compliance concerns to the Compliance department.

     

     

     

    Education/Experience

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. (Required)
    • Advanced math and statistical skills. (Required)

     

    Associated Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

    • Call center experience a plus
    • Experience with MS office suite including Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of and adherence to regulations and compliance
    • Personal honesty and integrity
    • The ability to assist management team with running an efficient, cost-effective operation
    • The ability to meet accuracy and productivity goals
    • The ability to work effectively on a team, both within and across Ultimate Medical Academy departments
    • Carry a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward daily activities.
