In this role, you'll be responsible for helping our students and graduates pursue or advance their healthcare careers. You’ll provide career services to students, graduates, and alumni, plus build relationships with potential employers for UMA grads.

Career Services Advisor responsibilities include: • Helping students and graduates find employment aligned with their skills and training. • Speaking with students to provide guidance on resume writing, interview techniques, workplace expectations, and more. • Building relationships with potential employers in specific locations to connect graduates with job opportunities. • Calling hiring managers to identify and create potential job opportunities.
Skills and Traits You'll Need to Succeed: • A dynamic, high-energy personality with strong communication and follow-up skills. • Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment. • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. • Proven track record in sales, business development, and/or customer service. • Basic computer skills. • Comfortable working independently or in a team environment. • A flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends on occasion.
Education/Experience: • College coursework preferred. • Minimum of 1-year customer service, career services, staffing, or sales experience. • Call center experience preferred, but not required.
