    Purpose of the Position

    Under the day-to-day coordination of the Senior Revenue Accountant and supervision of the VP of Finance, the Revenue Accounting Analyst position demands an individual who is meticulous, highly analytical and always strives for the highest level of accuracy.  The Revenue Accounting Analyst works very closely with other business units to ensure accurate revenue recognition and on time closing.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Analyze large quantities of billing and revenue related data accurately
    • Work directly and closely with operational teams to address billing issues and to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed.
    • Prepare calculation of revenue recognition during month-end close
    • Prepare reconciliations & maintain schedules of deferred revenue, accounts receivable and allowance for doubtful accounts
    • Assist with revenue and allowance for doubtful accounts variance analysis
    • Prepare monthly metrics
    • Evaluate and implement process improvement to increase efficiency of workflow and month-end close
    • Perform other balance sheet analysis and reconciliations as needed
    • Perform other job related tasks and duties as required



    • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required
    • Bachelor’s degree (in Accounting, Finance or equivalent) required
    • Highly proficient and experienced with Excel including vlookups and pivot tables required
    • Great Plains and QuickBooks software experience is preferred
    • Knowledge of US GAAP principles required
