Purpose of the Position: The Associate Director, Benefits is responsible for the strategy and execution of the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plan, 401(k) plan and retirement plan). The Associate Director works closely with CEO/CFO and HR leaders to develop and implement a strategic approach to group benefits and wellness. Purpose of the Position:   The Dean for Online Program and Institutional Effectiveness provides senior-level vision, leadership, and analysis of effectiveness in the distance education environment, overall quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. This Dean will use data and distance learning standards of practice to identify actionable insights into program and institutional effectiveness in the areas of faculty hiring, effectiveness of the online curriculum and instructional practices, use of resources, the online student learning experience, student outreach, and other areas as needed to support student outcomes and program quality.  This Dean leads best practice initiatives to promote high levels of student engagement, learning, retention, and placement, applying current research and trends in higher education specifically as they relate to the success of non-traditional students.   The Dean for Online Program and Institutional Effectiveness reports to the Associate Provost, Programs and Academic Affairs.

Purpose of the Position: The Leave Administration Specialist has ownership and accountability for the full process of all UMA Leave of Absence types including FMLA, ADA, Military, Jury Duty and UMA specific leave programs. The Leave Administration Specialist owns all communication, support and education with the team member requesting/on leave, the business leadership and the third-party vendors that UMA partners with to ensure adherence to established benefit plans, institutional policies and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws. The Leave Administration Specialist must provide proactive, timely and accurate information in the areas of Leave of Absence policies and procedures in a caring and compassionate manner while being responsible for ensuring compliance with all state/federal leave laws in coordination with related institutional policies. The Leave Administration Specialist will partner very closely with other members of the HR, Payroll and Legal teams to determine best solutions for both the team member and UMA. The Leave Administration Specialist will also assist with initial Benefits related questions referring them to the Benefits team for more in-depth information.  The Leave Administration Specialist reports to the Director, Human Resources.

    Purpose of the Position This role has primary responsibility to provide support of the core business applications for UMA, and is Tier II/III end-user support of the same. This role will act as first level escalation for Tier I Service Desk and Tier II Deskside Support, but will field first level support for all Leadership, Executive and UMA affiliate employees. Members of the Production Engineering team will have shared knowledge and skillset of job responsibilities. There will be individually assigned primary responsibility for some specific core business applications. Team members in this role will be responsible for creating and maintaining up to date documentation and SOPs related to core business systems and processes so to effectively train other support team members as well as customers. Production Engineering team members will engage regularly with Application Owners so to stay atop changes, enhancements, bugs, fixes and updates. Production Engineering team members will engage in any outage, as assigned to core business applications, to include up to resolution and RCA processing. Necessary team members will attend Change Management discussions and will participate in Problem Management processes.

    Summary of Position: The Program Director (PD) is responsible for the overall effectiveness of their assigned program, oversees the management of the core courses at either the online campus or the Clearwater campus, and directly supervises the faculty who report to them.  As such, the PD is responsible for the leadership and administration of assigned courses and faculty teams and overall program outcomes. The PD informs a variety of Education department and institutional affairs including program effectiveness plans, advisory boards, faculty council and committees, taskforce meetings, targeted student outreach, satisfactory academic progress, accreditation/certification, policy and procedure adherence, as well as faculty and staff hiring, supervision and development.  In addition, the Program Director leads the retention, graduation, and placement success of associate degree and diploma programs, and effectively and efficiently with the Dean, General Education and Student Success Courses Department Chairs, Learner Services, Career Services, and other departments as appropriate to problem-solve and execute data-driven solutions to increase program health, curriculum viability, instructor performance, and student achievement.  Program Directors leverage their work history and connections in the related employment field to attract Advisory Board members and other career-related information to help inform the strategic planning for their program. The Program Director reports to the Associate Provost, Programs and Academic Affairs or Campus Director.
